#394. I am grateful for the temple and what I learned yesterday. Every time that something significant in our life happens spiritually, Satan will be right there trying to distract us. Kind of like a crossroad.
#395. I am also grateful for the realization that everything that was created for this earth has seed within it to reproduce itself. From man to food.
#396. I am grateful for the joy that Eve had when she realized that their would be a Savior sent to the earth so that all of the earth's children would have a chance to repent. That would be a relief to the mother of all living.
#397. I am grateful that the sessions in the temple are overflowing and sometimes run over because so many people are going to the temple.
#398. I am grateful that I have been able to go to the temple every week. It really helps me overcome my frustrations easier at home and softens my heart so that I can apologize for my poor choices in my decision making in dealing with loved ones.
#399. I am grateful for technology so that I can listen to scriptures on the way to work everyday.
#400. I am grateful for Moroni. He was very intelligent and he was fair. When he knew that he had to fight for righteousness he used strategy so that he could win if he was going to fight. He planned a good offense. He also halted a battle to show mercy for his opponent to spare them their lives if they would drop their weapons. He taught his friends and family that righteousness is worth fighting for and that when we are fighting we should know for what reason we are fighting. For example, fighting for truth and righteousness in our home is an everyday battle. Teaching children to be obedient, honest, and to show respect and love for others is an everyday battle. We have to know we are fighting against Satan for our families. Since we are waging a battle, we should use strategy. If we pray and stay in tune with the Holy Ghost he will enlighten our minds, increase our intelligence, and let us know what to do in every battle. The best way to hear the spirit of the Holy Ghost is to read scriptures, pray, and go to the temple. We are the Captain Moroni's of our little Army's. I hope that we can all keep our families armed in the battle in these last days. Thank you Moroni.
#401. I am grateful for the talks I heard in church today. Both of them were about relying upon The Lord and doing all that we can to be righteous in every possible way so that we can buoyed up by the Spirit.
#402. I am happy and grateful that I said something that made Chelsea feel good about herself.
#403. I am grateful and delighted that Chelsea is so humble that she does not even realize what a great person she is. President Hinckley was like that.
#404, I am grateful that Chelsea is open and honest with herself and others and always has a desire to be a better person. Even though I think that she is a pretty good person.
#405. I am grateful that I was able to help Chelsea find her way back when she was a tad bit lost during her Sophomore and Junior year. I learned a lot about people and how much Heavenly Father loves each of his children during that time. It is interested how as a Mother, I have been guided to do things so differently with each child. I think that my experiences with Holli and Chelsea have helped me to check with Heavenly Father on my parenting ideas before I carry on with my own decisions as if there is only one way to do things. I have learned that you cannot force the human mind. Through the experiences of both Holli and Chelsea, although very different, I realized that they came to find their own testimonies of Christ and of the gospel. Just as it was with others I have known that have found the truth, it is all the same truth. Grandma Sargent came to know exactly the same truth also. My goal for my girls has always been two things - that they develop their own relationship with their Savior and that they become independent women who take care of themselves.
#406. I know that Chelsea knows the truth and hears the voice of The Lord. Even when she realizes that she is in the wrong, she still speaks the truth of all matters. Just like her, Dad.
#407. I am grateful that Chelsea has developed as person this year and realized the potential she has and how she can be helpful to Heavenly Father by learning to love children. She has natural skill in working with children.
#408. I am grateful that Chelsea has a beautiful voice and I know that if she is obedient to the commandments and follows the spirit she will be led to the place where she can share her musical talents with others to inspire them with hope and happiness.
#409. I am grateful that Chelsea was a companion for me when I was on pregnancy bed rest. She stayed by my side and was my friend during a very hard and trying time. I was never lonely and always felt her love.
#410. I am grateful for the letter Chelsea gave me for my birthday or Mother's Day right before she got engaged. It was a beautiful letter of gratitude and she should get three points for that. It is always nice to know that you have made a difference in someone else's life.
#411. I am grateful for all of the times that Chelsea listened to me about choir problems and really cared about helping me.
#412. I am grateful that Chelsea looks out for the underdog and stands up for the rights of those who are not able to speak for themselves.
#413. I am grateful that Chelsea finished flight attendant school although her life changed a ton between the time that she first signed up and the time that she had to go. She showed to us and to herself that she could follow through on a personal commitment even if it was very hard for her.
#414. I am grateful that she realized that this was not the right career for her and admitted to herself and others instead of being unhappy for many years and suffering with anxiety.
#415. I am grateful that Chelsea knows that she can rely on family for help even if it is in the middle of the night and she is wearing lime and turquoise psycho pajamas.
#416. I am grateful for the chance that I have had to be Chelsea's choir teacher and the choir teacher of all of my other daughters. That was a goal of mine to teach all of my daughters in their high school years. One more daughter to go.
#417. I am grateful that Chelsea likes to clean.
#418. I am grateful that Chelsea took such good care of Titan and Blayze when Holli was living here during the week by herself.
#419. I am grateful that Holli followed her prompting to move back to Thatcher so that she would have Jeff to help her through Blayze's Seizures, this difficult pregnancy, and that she could be there to help Jeff during the loss of his brother.
#420. I am very grateful for Chelsea's funny smile with the question in her eyes. It is a one of a kind smile that I would recognize anywhere.
#421. I am thankful that Chelsea reads her scriptures and finds new things to be excited about in them.
#422. I am thankful that Chelsea has a nice house and a good ward.
#423. I am grateful that Chelsea spends a few hours a day with Emily because Emily really loves her.
#424. I am grateful that Chelsea has learned to like clothes shopping a little bit more.
#425. I am grateful that Chelsea is getting to know Grandma Dulcie better.
#426. I am grateful for all of the nice things that Chelsea says and does for Noni. Noni really likes Chelsea and says that she is a really good person.
#427. I am grateful for the memory of Tess, Alyssa, and Chelsea going to visit girls camp when they were still in primary. It was a fun trip right up to the time that Tess threw up.
#428. I am grateful for the times that Bridgette, Chelsea, and Caleb would do homework in the theater. They were very funny and it was fun to make food for them and tease them.
#429. I am grateful that Chelsea likes the gifts that I buy her for instance, the yellow shoes I bought her for her 16th birthday, and her dress.
#430. I am grateful for the way Chelsea doesn't talk bad about other people.
#431. I am grateful that Chelsea finds the good in others.
#432. I am grateful that Chelsea was not a boy. I am not really sure I wanted boys anyways. I really like girls.
#433. I am grateful that Chelsea sang at Emily's baptism "Be Still and Know". It was beautiful.
#434. I am grateful for the beautiful bride that Chelsea was in San Diego.
#435. I am grateful for the way she handled herself when she had some difficult decisions to make about who to invite to her wedding and reception.
#436. I am grateful that Chelsea is happy.
#437. I am grateful that Heavenly Father watches over Chelsea when she drives.
#438. I am grateful that Chelsea married Justin. I really like him a lot.
#439. I am grateful that Chelsea lives close to me.
#440. I am grateful that Chelsea was safe when her car blew up.
#441. I am grateful when Chelsea was safe downtown after her recital.
#442. I am grateful that Chelsea was safe on the freeway when her car stalled.
#443. I am grateful that Chelsea is watched over and cared for by the Hand of The Lord.
#444. I am grateful, very grateful to be Chelsea's Mom.
#445. I am grateful for the fact that Chelsea brings light into our family and into the lives of everyone that knows her.
