Debra 582 - 600

582.  I am thankful that our wedding reception decor take-down went well.
583.  I am glad that I have a very nice person named, Nancy, doing my hair today. She has done it before,  I feel sorry for her today because it didn't turn out and she had to do it twice.
584.  I am grateful that Noni came with me so that I didn't have to go by myself.
585.  I am grateful for the times when Noni is quiet when Darrin and I are trying to talk and solve problems.  She is very good at this.  She was always good at that.
586.  I am grateful that Noni liked her perm today.
587.  I am grateful that the girls are always so kind to me.
588.  I am grateful that Darrin liked his Christmas presents.
589.  I am grateful for this upcoming week off.
590.  I am grateful for my new pants from Ross because they are comfortable and thy are two sizes smaller than the size I have been wearing normally.  Thanks to Herbalife.
591.  I am thankful for peace in our home.
592.  I am thankful that Emily's puppy is well-behaved and that he is potty trained.  Double score.
593.  I am thankful for the scripture that I read today about "ministering angels" and their purpose.
594.  I am thankful to know the difference between what is right and wrong.
595.  I am thankful for my new flat shoes that I got from Ross store.  It was super fun to shop with Brenley to get them.  She is always so helpful.
596.  I am thankful that Emily is doing better at brushing her teeth.
597.  I am thankful that i will be going to the dentist soon to get my teeth cleaned.
598.  I am thankful for my two diamond rings that I wear.  One belonged to my Grandma Ruth.  She and I really clicked.  We hung out a lot together.  It is fun to wear her ring.
599.   The other ring belongs to Grandmas Sargent.  She gave it to me when we went to visit Grandma Sargent on Darrin's birthday. 
600.  I am grateful that it took all day to get my hair done so that Dad could have a break.

579.  I am grateful for all of the live shows I have seen in Las Vegas:  Phantom, Ka, O show, Lion King, Mamma Mia, The Beatle Show, and Blue Man.  They keep my imagination inspired.
580.  I am grateful for the internet and how it ties us together.
581.  I am grateful that Ravyn was just barely born a minute ago.  Yeah!  Thank you Heavenly Father.





Dulcie 501-506

501   So thankful for all the blessings that Holl received during a very very hard time.  That should equal at least 300 gratitudes for me if I named them all, but oh well, I'll play fair.
502  Gratitude takes a certain attitude, sometimes I have it sometimes I don't.  Grateful that right now I have a lot of it.
503.  Grateful for all the thankfulness I have been reading about on the log.  Inspirational.  too bad all the family doesn't have access to this.
504.  Grateful just got word Holli is having her baby.
505.  Grateful Nik is on the plane just about to get home.
506.  Grateful that the family is so excited about both.

Holli's #801-852

- I'm grateful that it's December
- I'm grateful that I'm home from the hospital
- that I'm able to take care if my trach myself and I don't have to have HHC 24/7
- that Rayvn has been doing so well through out all this
- a patient husband
- that the girls at Trends wash my hair for me.
- Jeff helps me bath by washing my back and making sure I don't get my trach wet.
- for my trach and that I can breath so well.
- that we found I needed to have a treachostomy to survive my delivery.
- that my surgeon didn't put my trach in crooked...it's aligned perfectly with my nose. That would have annoyed me super bad if it was not even with my face.
- as weird as it was I'm grateful for the experiences I had when I could not talk for a week. I learned a lot about myself, my faith, and Christ.
- I'm grateful for each family member who each came to stay with me. You provided what I needed at the specific time. And you were so patient with me! THANK YOU!
- I'm gratful for each nurse I had. Especially my nurse Neva. I had her 4 days in a row.
- I'm gratful for my nurse and Brenley they were able to give me a shower and wash my hair after a long 2 weeks.
- I'm gratful all the prayers and fasting that I felt for our family. And still feel.
- I'm gratful that I don't have to eat hospital food anymore.
- I'm gratful for the weight that I lost while in the hospital.
- I'm gratful that mom And Brenley brought me underwear in the hospital.
- I'm gratful that my trech is not permanant.
- I'm gratful that Dianne and the Estes family helped out with my boys for those 2 weeks.
- I'm gratful for extra strength Tylenol.
- I'm gratful that I can talk
- I'm gratful that I'm learning to control my mind...and calm myself down when I start felling panicky and claustrophobic with the trech neck band that I have to wear.
- I'm gratful that I had the opportunity to learn to listen while I couldn't talk. 
- I'm gratful thaT I am learning how to control my tongue.  Since I can't just say whatever whenever with my trech, I have to cover it to talk it's giving me a chance to think before I speak. I am a much kinder person. 
- I'm gratful that Jeff and can sleep in the same bed....I've missed him.
- I'm gratful for the teachings in the temple and that I was able to go to sessions in my head and remember enough, during the week I couldn't talk. It gave me peace.
- I'm gratful to those on the other side of the vail that were with me those 2 weeks. Especially the week of no talking.
- I'm gratful to be a fast texter so that I was able to communicate somewhat with people.
- I'm gratful for the man that I watched in the ICU who had a treck for a year and was able to be and communicate normal. It gave me hope. (even though he was a creeper and was trying to leave the ICU and they had to call security)
- I'm gratful for Alex and her husband for bringing me and Brenley dinner 2 nights in a row.
- I'm gratful that my friend Jodi came to visit me and brought me yummy food and 2 beautiful scarves. 
- I'm gratful that Tasha's fiancé came to visit me before my surgery and that I got to know him better.
- I'm gratful that Cade and Shelby drove to see me.
- I'm gratful for all the txt, calls and FaceTimes I got. 
- I'm gratful that mom showed me that dumb but funny show on Netflix... I took my mind off my claustrophobia. 
- I'm gratful that they did not make me stay in that MRI machine for an hour. That they got me out as soon as I started panicking.
- I'm gratful that the catscan was way less scary.
- I'm gratful that Jeff and I got to spend 3 days together after I got home from the hospital. 
- I'm gratful to those that brought us some of they're Thanksgiving dinner.
- I'm gratful to the YM in our ward that put up Christmas lights on the outside of our house.
- the YW that brought us over 8 freezer meals.
- I'm gratful Jeff painted Ravyn's dresser for me.
- I'm gratful that Chelsea and Justin took such great care of the boys for us.
- I'm gratful for Heather and all the baby stuff she's helped me with. 
- I'm gratful for the 8 ladies that still came to my baby shower even tho I was in the hospital.
- I'm gratful I'm feeling well enough to cook, clean and do laundry.
- I'm gratful that Jeff and the boys decorated for Christmas. This time of year makes me so happy.
- Titan and Blayze missed me an drew me lots of cards and pictures.
- Titan still calls me pretty and beautiful.
- Blayze thinks my trech is cool and loves watching me take care of it....maybe he will be a Dr.
- my insurance is covering everything.

470.  I am grateful that it is so easy to communicate with my brothers. 
471.  I am grateful for what a dedicated and honest Father Kevin is.
472.  I am grateful for Michael and how pure in heart he is.  He had a very sweet and obedient spirit and he is a good example for me.  
473.  I am grateful for the chance I had to see "Frozen" yesterday.  It is a beautiful movie with colorful scenes, touching music, and a great moral to it.
474.  I am grateful for Tia and what a nice girl she is.  She always says please and thank you and gives hugs to everyone.
475.  I Am grateful for families and that we had a  chance to spend time together on Saturday with Kip and Kevin and their families.
476.  I am grateful for he Internet and the access I have to Ensign articles and talks to use as references to solve problems in my daily life.
477.  I am grateful for Darrin and how he works so hard every day to please a of the demanding females in his life.
478.  I am grateful for Darrin's righteousness in obeying the commandments and teaching what is right and wrong by example.
479.  I am grateful for a beautiful Mom who keeps working everyday to be better and to please God as she serves and loves others.  She is a good example of obedience.
490.  I am grateful that a few good memories pop up every once in a while of the times when my Dad was a good and loving man and strong in his testimony.
491.  I am thankful for the opportunity we have to pay tithing.

446-  I am grateful that Brenley helped me to figure out the password problem on my phone.  Thank you so much, Brenley.
447.  I am grateful that I had an opportunity to partake of the sacrament today and how that experience can soften your heart.
448.  I am thankful for the Sunday School lesson on how the curriculum of the church is the same everywhere. 
449.  I am thankful to meet new sisters in our new ward due to the fact that we had new ward assignments today.
450.  I am grateful to be able to have the blogger app downloaded on my phone.
451.  I am grateful for the opportunity I had to go to the temple lights this evening. 
452.  I am grateful that Noni felt well enough to go to church.
453.  I am grateful that I was able to use Noni's laptop today to finish a wedding quote.
454.  I am grateful that Emily had a positive attitude today and spread good cheer.
455.  I am grateful that we had a peaceful and quiet day today.
456.  I am grateful that Darrin took care of Emily's school laundry for tomorrow.
457.  I am grateful that Emily likes her new red coat.
458.  I am grateful that November is over so that Noni doesn't have to feel so sad. It is a hard time for her during Tom's death month.
459.  I am grateful that I had the opportunity to go shopping with Noni yesterday to IKEA and the Goodwill Redesign store.
460.  I am grateful that Darrin and I were able to move the couch downstairs out of the craft room for Noni.
461.  I am grateful for Justin and his calm and peaceful personalty.  He is a good addition to our family.
462.  I am grateful he supported Chelsea this week when she took care of Holli"s and Jeff's boys.
463.  I am grateful for the strong and healthy heartbeat of Holl's little girl.
464.  I am grateful for Chelsea being pregnant.  I believe that she will be one of the great Mother's in  Israel who will teach her children to be obedient and to love The Lord. This will of great importance to God.
465.  I am grateful for the power of the priesthood and how it blesses the lives of our family daily.
466.  I am grateful for the gift of patience which I am able to maintain most of the time.
467.  I am grateful for personal revelation that I receive for myself and for my children.
468.  I am grateful for the power of fasting.
469.  I am grateful for the chance that I had to give my two grandsons baths and the. Give them big hugs.


 

gratitudes 490-500 Dulcie

492-a big thanks to your family for letting me participate in this gratitudes challenge.  Did not reach 1000, but those I did helped me in my daily life to be more grateful.
493-Grateful for those few stalwart sisters who volunteered to help me with food for the memorial next Saturday for Pat Leyburn who passed away from cancer last week at the age of 36.
494-Grateful to Ramona Thompson, secretary in RS for giving Presidency message lesson today in place of President Darlene Leyburn, so I wouldn't have to do it.
495-Also grateful for that beautiful lesson on Priesthood Keys, which was a good lesson for us as our stake was just split.
496-Thankful for all the special testimonies in church today given by mostly those we hadn't heard from in along time.
497-Grateful for a beautiful warm day following  the freezing cold days from last week.
498-Thankful that I am pretty much assured that on Sunday most of my children and their children are somewhere in church taking the sacrament.  Gives me such peace of mind.
499-So grateful for the beautiful and creative things in my life and in my kids.  Life is so sweet with its
influence.
500-Thank you, Heavenly Father, for a truly blessed life.  My motto is and hopefully the title of a book I will write someday is "Treasure Up the Thistles"
