- I'm grateful that I'm home from the hospital
- that I'm able to take care if my trach myself and I don't have to have HHC 24/7
- that Rayvn has been doing so well through out all this
- a patient husband
- that the girls at Trends wash my hair for me.
- Jeff helps me bath by washing my back and making sure I don't get my trach wet.
- for my trach and that I can breath so well.
- that we found I needed to have a treachostomy to survive my delivery.
- that my surgeon didn't put my trach in crooked...it's aligned perfectly with my nose. That would have annoyed me super bad if it was not even with my face.
- as weird as it was I'm grateful for the experiences I had when I could not talk for a week. I learned a lot about myself, my faith, and Christ.
- I'm grateful for each family member who each came to stay with me. You provided what I needed at the specific time. And you were so patient with me! THANK YOU!
- I'm gratful for each nurse I had. Especially my nurse Neva. I had her 4 days in a row.
- I'm gratful for my nurse and Brenley they were able to give me a shower and wash my hair after a long 2 weeks.
- I'm gratful all the prayers and fasting that I felt for our family. And still feel.
- I'm gratful that I don't have to eat hospital food anymore.
- I'm gratful for the weight that I lost while in the hospital.
- I'm gratful that mom And Brenley brought me underwear in the hospital.
- I'm gratful that my trech is not permanant.
- I'm gratful that Dianne and the Estes family helped out with my boys for those 2 weeks.
- I'm gratful for extra strength Tylenol.
- I'm gratful that I can talk
- I'm gratful that I'm learning to control my mind...and calm myself down when I start felling panicky and claustrophobic with the trech neck band that I have to wear.
- I'm gratful that I had the opportunity to learn to listen while I couldn't talk.
- I'm gratful thaT I am learning how to control my tongue. Since I can't just say whatever whenever with my trech, I have to cover it to talk it's giving me a chance to think before I speak. I am a much kinder person.
- I'm gratful that Jeff and can sleep in the same bed....I've missed him.
- I'm gratful for the teachings in the temple and that I was able to go to sessions in my head and remember enough, during the week I couldn't talk. It gave me peace.
- I'm gratful to those on the other side of the vail that were with me those 2 weeks. Especially the week of no talking.
- I'm gratful to be a fast texter so that I was able to communicate somewhat with people.
- I'm gratful for the man that I watched in the ICU who had a treck for a year and was able to be and communicate normal. It gave me hope. (even though he was a creeper and was trying to leave the ICU and they had to call security)
- I'm gratful for Alex and her husband for bringing me and Brenley dinner 2 nights in a row.
- I'm gratful that my friend Jodi came to visit me and brought me yummy food and 2 beautiful scarves.
- I'm gratful that Tasha's fiancé came to visit me before my surgery and that I got to know him better.
- I'm gratful that Cade and Shelby drove to see me.
- I'm gratful for all the txt, calls and FaceTimes I got.
- I'm gratful that mom showed me that dumb but funny show on Netflix... I took my mind off my claustrophobia.
- I'm gratful that they did not make me stay in that MRI machine for an hour. That they got me out as soon as I started panicking.
- I'm gratful that the catscan was way less scary.
- I'm gratful that Jeff and I got to spend 3 days together after I got home from the hospital.
- I'm gratful to those that brought us some of they're Thanksgiving dinner.
- I'm gratful to the YM in our ward that put up Christmas lights on the outside of our house.
- the YW that brought us over 8 freezer meals.
- I'm gratful Jeff painted Ravyn's dresser for me.
- I'm gratful that Chelsea and Justin took such great care of the boys for us.
- I'm gratful for Heather and all the baby stuff she's helped me with.
- I'm gratful for the 8 ladies that still came to my baby shower even tho I was in the hospital.
- I'm gratful I'm feeling well enough to cook, clean and do laundry.
- I'm gratful that Jeff and the boys decorated for Christmas. This time of year makes me so happy.
- Titan and Blayze missed me an drew me lots of cards and pictures.
- Titan still calls me pretty and beautiful.
- Blayze thinks my trech is cool and loves watching me take care of it....maybe he will be a Dr.
- my insurance is covering everything.
