Holli #128-175
-That one of Eric's gratitudes said "Erica's" it makes me smile every time I see it!
-my cute dress came in the mail
-YouTube videos that thought me how to apply generic Walmart makeup and have it look flawless and stay on all day like my really expensive make up. Now I can save money. I tried it and it works.
-ponytail holders
-silence
-That Blayze calls Despicable Me, "Despicable Meat"
-I finally got to read the entire Blog.
- that tonight Jeff was able to go to dinner with on of his High School buddies
-that I have cute kids
- that Blayze reminds me of a minion. He cracks me up all the time.
- Answers to prayers. This year has been a struggle for me but I feel closer to The Lord more the ever. With out a doubt I know that when I pray he hears me. Lately he's been answering my prayer almost immediately after I pray. It's been really neat to witness. On the nights that are really bad I ask to fall asleep quickly and I do. I've asked to have a good day and I do. I've asked for Jeff to have patience with me and he does. Those are just a few.
-I'm grateful to have fun memories of growing up. Here are a few:
•Frazer and Spicy's wedding after dad did a family home eve. On the importance of marriage and keeping your self pure before marriage.
•how I wasn't suppose to talk to boys on MSN chat and I would anyways but I always confessed to mom right after because I felt guilty because I wanted to be honest. I got grounded every time.
•Thursday night in the park performances at Pioneer Park during the summer time.
•tape recording Chelsea being the devil on Heathers Talk Girl recorder because mom never believed us when we told her how horrible Chelsea was when she and dad would leave.
•I always remember mom and dad leaving to go to the temple often.
•picking flower seeds for Gma and Gpa. I think I got paid a dollar for every milk gallon I filled up. And then I would walk across the street to Ed's grocery store and buy a dollars worth of chick-o-sticks...they were 5 cents each.
• the hundreds of times Colorado our hooker cat had babies and mom and dad would make us sit in front of Ed's giving them away.
•Dad built me and Heather the most amazing fort out of card board boxes in our backyard in Taylor (the house with the cemetery of all our dead pets) that was the first time I saw a child of the earth bug.
•catching horny toads and frogs during the summers
•waking up EVERY Saturday to moms music lessons.
•when dad asked me to mow the lawn so I put on a bikini (I Borrowed it from a neighbor since I wasn't allowed to wear them) and went out and mowed the lawn and he never asked me to mow again.
•the Grand opening of the book store. I had to dress up as the stupid elephant in the middle of summer.
•heather and I doing dishes together in Taylor.
•playing UNO and Yatzi in front of the swamp cooler in the Taylor house.
• At our Taylor house, mom and me coming home for lunch everyday and we would watch some soap opera together.
•Dad taking me to some of his football trips when I was little.
•daddy daughter dates. We went and saw Desney on Ice and Little Mermaid in the theater. (Those are the earliest 2 I can remember)
•mom and dad had us all do yard work all day and said if we did it then they would take us the see The Lion King in Showlow.... We slaved away and drove 45min and It was sold out.
•while mom was doing lessons we weren't allowed in the house, I remember drinking out of the hose when we were thirsty. I still crave summertime hose water. :)
•playing on our swing set but never being able to swing to high because it could flip over since dad didn't cement it to the ground. It was always exciting to see how high we could get that swing set off the ground.
•indoor water fight
•The Christmas Eve talent show with moms side of the family every year.
•playing library or school out on the back porch in snowflake
•putting Gourds in our shirts so we had boobies.
•Chelsea and her amazing winking... I still remember dad sitting there teaching you over and over again in your high hair while he was feeding you.
•how confused I was when Chelsea came home from the hospital and was a girl. I'm grateful she is.
•moms funny threats to us when we were driving in the car.
•Ex: "if you don't be quiet I'm going to sit on your face."
•listening to talks on tapes in the car: John Bytheway, Troy Dunn, Bill Cosby, etc.
•praying to start the grey van
•how mom kept trying to put me and Brenley in a room together to figure out how to get along but it never lasted very long because we were to much alike.
•How Heather could share a room with anyone and get along perfectly.
•bunk bed torture in the Taylor house... Enough said I'm sure you girls remember.
•Goosey Lucy at the log cabin house out in the middle of nowhere. I also remember the Sunday that she didn't wake us up on time for church. After church we were all worried and on our way home he stopped at the gate to our property. We said a prayer to find her and dad had us stay in the car. I remember him walking quite A ways up a hill where the ditch was. A couple min later he walked back with her breast feathers and told us a coyote got her. We were sad but I remember knowing that the holy Ghost guided dad right to her.
•moms amazing talent of coming up with chore charts.... My fav. Was the money gum ball machine.
•I remember when mom was on bed rest with Spencer and I would make her instant oatmeal. For some reason I remember her being in a bed or couch bed in the upstairs living room that was near the kitchen... I don't know if that is true but that's how I remember it.

- listening to Hilary Weeks while parked in front of the temple.
- my favorite hymn "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing" it reminds me of the Bingham family. Emily and I were in her dads seminary class together our freshman year and I remember his lesson based around this song. Emily and I use to play it full blast in her basement surround sound. It shook the house and always made us cry while we listened and sang the words. The song still makes me emotional. I miss Emily and I'm glad that I can feel her spirit especially through music.

- Jeff knows somehow knows when to leave me alone and when to check on me.
- Jeff fixes things around the house without being asked. Today it was replaced the doorknob on my bedroom door.
- I slept really well last night
- the boys slept in till 9
-DADS #31 grateful post:

Debra #223 - #252
#223. I am grateful for how the girls helped me through choir auditions when I felt buzzed from the overloaded perky punch I had. I am not sure how I made it but I do not want to do that again.
#224. I am grateful that Noni thought about me and bought me a flower pen.
#225. I am grateful for the blessing that Dad gave Jaquel.
#226. I am grateful for CiCi and Brooke that helped Emily enjoy her last part of summer.
#227. I am. Grateful that Emily is seeing a specialist for her stomach problems.
#228. I am grateful that I was able to get Emily's school shopping done for $100. She is going to a school that requires uniform. Fastest shopping trip ever. Red, white, and blue shirts and blue, black, and kaki pants. Easy.
#229. I am grateful that I was able to pick up Emily's uniform patches before school closed and that they waited for me to run to the bank to get cash.
#230. I am grateful that Noni I having a better week.
#231. I am grateful that we now have three distributors underneath us in herbalife.
#232. I am grateful that my thighs are getting a bit smaller.
#233. I am grateful that I found a healthy way to lose weight.
#234. I am grateful that Darrin listens to the spirit. When I wasn't feeling well after school on Monday, I was thinking that I would feel better if I could talk to Darrin and then He sent me a text to see how I was doing.
#235. I am grateful that Noni is starting a gratitude journal.
#236. I am grateful for Brenley and how she helped me with auditions, by organizing the forms, adding up the scores, and giving very good advice. She watches out for my welfare and prepares things for me to make my life easier. I have tried to do that for my whole life, but I have never really had anyone do that for me. Sometimes we receive pay backs in life that will surprise us.
#237. I am grateful that Chelsea is finding her own little way down the path of life. "Zumba ba ba, Zumba ba ba, Zumba all the way. She is getting Zumba certified on August 3rd. She is also going into the herbalife business. And she is going to get out there and sing. Actually Chelsea is going to record some songs that I have been writing.
#238. I am grateful for the district that I work at. It seems to be more geared towards my teaching style. I also feel the spirit when I am in the school buildings and the people seem very smart and are very good people.
#239. I am grateful that Chelsea and Lexi helped with the auditions. They were fun and worked hard. They both looked great and were professional with the exception of when that super cute sophomore boy came in.
#240. I am grateful that Holli is learning to look on the bright side of life when she is not feeling well.
#241. I am grateful that I get to sub in primary. It is always an adventure and I love how you can always trust the Holy Ghost to be there when you are teaching the simple gospel truths to young children. No need to be flashy, just simple and follow the lesson and the spirit will teach the children at their level and also testify to you on your level as a teacher. Interesting. This week I told the story of the time that Holli was riding Jana Denee's bike on the highway and the spirit told me to get in the car and go get her. When I drove up the street to find her turning out onto the highway, she asked me "How did you know, Mom?" This is when I think Holli really learned about the spirit of the Holy Ghost and inspiration.
#242. I am grateful that Noni took the dead petunias out of the front yard this morning.
#243. I am grateful for the scriptures. I haven't been reading very fast through Alma, but it seems as though every-time I read a verse it pertains exactly to what is happening in my life. Did you know that prophets have anxiety? Did you know that they are instructed to pray to have the light in their life so that they will not have fear. Alma 13

Brenley's Gratitudes #101-120
#101- I am grateful dad let me drive to and from California.
#102- I am grateful the water at the beach wasn't super cold like it usually is.
#103- I am grateful that I was able to hang out with Stacie for a few days so I could recharge my Stacie battery. I love that girl!
#104- I am grateful that Landon was excited we all stayed at his house.
#105- I am grateful for Landon's excitement about everything! He is just excited about life!
#106- I am grateful that mom and I had so much fun shopping together.
#107- I am grateful that Eric shared a book with mom that she really loves. Its fun to see them both so excited about the same thing.
#108- I am grateful to be able to come home to such a wonderful husband after being away!
#109- I am grateful Eric cleaned our room while I was gone- he did a great job and I was happy I could just relax once we got home!
#110- I am grateful that everyone took care of Presley while I was gone and that she didn't have to just stay in her cage all day.
#111- I am very grateful that I have a fun clinical group and friends at school. Makes it more enjoyable.

#113- I am grateful for my clinical instructor and that we got her instead of a different one. :)
#114- I am grateful that I was able to feel the spirit of service at clinicals yesterday. Nurses have some dirty work they have to do, but its work that serves others- things they can't do themselves. Some nurses served with love and others, not so much. I tried to think of Jesus serving the sick and needy and tried to have the same attitude and love towards those I was serving and it helped.

#116- I am grateful for promptings of the spirit and the timing of the Lord.
#117- I'm grateful for our new friendship with the Crookstons in our ward.
#118- I am so grateful the Crookstons invited us over to talk about adoption and to help us feel more comfortable and answer our questions. They are amazing people! (With GORGEOUS kids!)
#119- I am grateful that Holli was able to swim around in the pool today and forget that she felt sick for a few minutes.

#115- I'm grateful that dad is willing to help Eric with our primary class until August.
#120- I am grateful for the men working so hard on our yard in the heat. Its really coming together nicely!

Debra #179 - #200
#179- I am thankful for what I learned about myself when we took an inventory of ourselves during Family Home Evening. It is important for me to live up to my own values.
#180: I am grateful for Brenley's beautiful spirit and her charitable attitude about the trials that her Dad faces in his life.
#181: I am grateful for Stacie's entertaining moment on July 5th when she was getting ready to go out to dinner with us. I was secretly watching her in the bathroom as she was getting ready. She had just taken off her shirt and was standing in her pink polka-dotted pants. Her little chubby legs were squeezed together tightly as she was working hard to apply her Aunt Brenley's deodorant under each arm. She is part of the "Thomas Girl Gang" and is up for playing the part. You go girl.
#182: I am grateful for Darrin and how he gives me space to get over the things that upset me. Silence is golden.
#183: I am grateful for my mind and that I get excited to think about new ideas.
#184: I am thankful for the open relationship that Chelsea and I have. I love our candid visits and how she always checks her pride at the door when she is talking about her relationships with others. She always searches for her own weaknesses first. She is just like her Dad. Great judges in Israel.
#185: I am thankful for organizational skills taught to me by my Mother. Life is so much easier when I am in the habit of putting things away after I am finished with them. Everything has a designated place and is returned to that place and I get rid of what I don't need or use, and keep things clean. It took me my whole life to learn this, but I am grateful for my Mom's example.
#186: I am grateful that Emily hugs Noni. She has a special way with her.
#187: I am grateful for Tyler and Heather's graciousness when we were late for Landon's birthday party (late as in showed up at the end).
#188: I am grateful for the joy that Stacie brings Brenley.
#189: I am grateful for the fun we had in the swimming pool with Holli telling stupid riddles: for example, "What color is George Washington's white horse?"
#190: I am grateful for the chance I had to substitute in primary today. The children were very much in tune with spirit. One girl actually raised her hand to tell the story that was written in the lesson manual about Elder Kikuchi before I had a chance to tell it. Apparently, her Dad had recently told her the story. Cool stuff.
#190: I am grateful for my brother Chris, on his birthday, and how he takes care of his wife.
#191: I am grateful for Landon on us birthday. He has a great spirit and makes people feel good about themselves when he is with them.
#192: I am grateful for the testimonies I heard today. Especially the one that was about families and how important it is to feel a part of a family.
#193: I am grateful for the backyard path leading to the pool. The design is spiffy and fun to walk on.
#194: I am grateful that Noni is happier today.
#195: I am grateful for the Doctors that have helped our family: my Mom's cancer Doctors, Noni's neurologists, Sean's Dr's, my obstetricians, especially Dr. Northup, my foot Dr., my grand children's obstetricians, Blayze's Brain Dr., Andy's Dr.s, My Grandma Ruth's Dr.s, Braxton's Dr.'s and Surgeons, And Brenley's Fertility specialist. These special people have served our family.
#196: I am grateful for the kiss Stacie gave me. It seems we have a mutual bond of liking lipgloss. We are friends now.
#197: I am grateful for the chance I had to watch the monsoon last night with Emily, and Chelsea. It is one of my top favorite things to do.
#198: I am grateful that Brenley will be editing my texts, because that Dr. One above is going to need some work.
#199: I am so grateful that Holli is not throwing up anymore. This will be so much better for the baby.
#200: I am grateful that Darrin will get a break from the female hormones by going to football camp this week. I hope that I will be able to serve myself, do the pool, get the mail, take out the garbage, and keep all the girls happy while he is away. Presley is especially going to miss him.
Yeah! BEAD #2!!!!! (Your right about the exclamation marks Heather. They are empowering!)

Debra #174 - #178
#174: I am grateful that Dad planned a vacation for us. It was nice to be in California and with Heather's family. We should drive over every three months. It always worth it.
#175: I am grateful that Dad stopped at the restroom Tiaorning. It could have been a painful ride to Heather and Tyler's house.
#176: I am grateful that we had Stacie and Brenley on our vacation.
#177: I am really grateful that Brenley and I found the coolest jewelry and stuff at "everything a deal store". It as so fun. It made my whole day wonderful to see all the colorful jewelry. Thanks for the tip Heather. Wish you could have come.
#178: I am thankful for how beautiful San Diego is. It is refreshing to my soul.

Eric's gratitude #41
I'm grateful for cool breezes on hot days. Sometimes life is like that. Something very small can have such an alleviating effect during times of discomfort or trial
Eric's gratitude #40
I'm grateful Chelsea and Justin took care of Presley for us. That was very short notice and they were great sports
Eric's gratitude #38
I'm grateful I am having a purer love for my dad to just let him be who he is and not try and change him. It has helped our relationship and taught me about charity
Eric's gratitude #37
I'm grateful I let my dad stop by to see his first cousin in Heber. We all got to talk for a couple of hours and it made him happy.
Eric's gratitude #36
I'm grateful my dad and I got to drive back to Joseph City and just talk about all kinds of stuff.
Eric's gratitude #35
I'm grateful for the sacrifices of the founding fathers and those who served in the continental army to secure the birth of our great country
Eric's gratitude #34
I'm grateful that the diamondbacks started winning again. That was a rough losing streak they had there for a while

Debra #170 - #173
#170. I am grateful for Presley's curiosity. She is very entertaining to me. I think she and Joe Boxer are my favorite. Both dogs have brought me joy and I believe that animals can reflect the spirit of their owners. Both animals are and were loved. They now give love in return.
#171: I am grateful for Sunday School. It is a time when I can learn how others think when they read the scriptures.
#172: I am grateful for Landon's Charlie Brown hands. His hands are big and warm. He also has super-cute eyes.......and he is a big flirt.
#173: I am grateful for how pretty Stacie looks in her light blue Cinderella nighty. She looked especially adorable in it when we went to the grocery store today.

#164: I am grateful that the pool makes Holli feel better.
#165: I am grateful that Chelsea is feeling better.
#166 - 167: I am grateful that Dad sat in the backseat today on our trip to California so that I wouldn't have to (I told him this when we got out of the car).
#168: I am grateful that Eric shared a book with me about right-brained people. I love it and I am going to use the six senses in it as my foundation for teaching. I've never read a book that went more with my personal philosophy than this one. It just summed up all of my ideas in a simple package.
#169: I am thankful to find out why Darrin cannot figure out what I am talking about a lot of times. I am right brained dominant and he is left-brained dominant. I see the big overall picture simultaneously thinking of many things at once and he thinks about the logical steps of each event.

#135. I am grateful for the cool and enjoyable sleep that I had on Holli's couch on Sunday night.

#137. I am grateful for Justin's beautiful blue eyes.
#138. I am grateful for Brenley and Chelsea and how we hung out together yesterday on Brenley's bed for a few hours. It was relaxing.
#139. I am grateful for the fact that I don't have to get my teeth cleaned until January. That was so painful and it wasn't very fun getting reprimanded by the dentist either.
#140. Thank you Darrin for putting the water pick up in the shower.
#141. I am grateful to go on a small vacation in California. I am looking forward to it.
#142. I am very grateful that Holli is feeling better. It looks like she just needed rest and relaxation, a pool, and to hang out with her sisters. I don't know about the Sushi though.
#143. I am grateful that Brenley took Noni to get her notepads.
#144. I am grateful that Chelsea is a peacemaker in the family.

#155. I am grateful for the men that are working so hard on the backyard when it is so hot outside.
#156. I am grateful that Brenley and Eric are adopting and I pray that it will be a positive experience for them.
#157. I am grateful that I got to see Stacie and Landon and Heather on FaceTime the other day. The Huish family is very busy, but so adorable.

I have been thinking a lot about how brave and honorable our military people are. I don't think that I have shown or felt enough gratitude for them.
#162. I am thankful for the National Anthem and for those times in my life that it was sung so well that it allowed me to envision the actual scene in my mind.
