Debra #223 - #252

#223. I am grateful for how the girls helped me through choir auditions when I felt buzzed from the overloaded perky punch I had.  I am not sure how I made it but I do not want to do that again.
#224.  I am grateful that Noni thought about me and bought me a flower pen.
#225.  I am grateful for the blessing that Dad gave Jaquel.
#226.  I am grateful for CiCi and Brooke that helped Emily enjoy her last part of summer.
#227.  I am. Grateful that Emily is seeing a specialist for her stomach problems.
#228.  I am grateful that I was able to get Emily's school shopping done for $100.  She is going to a school that requires uniform.  Fastest shopping trip ever.  Red, white, and blue shirts and blue, black, and kaki pants.  Easy.
#229.  I am grateful that I was able to pick up Emily's uniform patches before school closed and that they waited for me to run to the bank to get cash.
#230.  I am grateful that Noni I having a better week.
#231.  I am grateful that we now have three distributors underneath us in herbalife.
#232.  I am grateful that my thighs are getting a bit smaller.
#233.  I am grateful that I found a healthy way to lose weight.
#234.  I am grateful that Darrin listens to the spirit.  When I wasn't feeling well after school on Monday, I was thinking that I would feel better if I could talk to Darrin and then He sent me a text to see how I was doing.
#235.  I am grateful that Noni is starting a gratitude journal.
#236.  I am grateful for Brenley and how she helped me with auditions, by organizing the forms, adding up the scores, and giving very good advice.  She watches out for my welfare and prepares things for me to make my life easier.  I have tried to do that for my whole life, but I have never really had anyone do that for me.  Sometimes we receive pay backs in life that will surprise us.
#237.  I am grateful that Chelsea is finding her own little way down the path of life.  "Zumba ba ba, Zumba ba ba, Zumba all the way.  She is getting Zumba certified on August 3rd.  She is also going into the herbalife business.  And she is going to get out there and sing.  Actually Chelsea is going to record some songs that I have been writing.
#238.  I am grateful for the district that I work at.  It seems to be more geared towards my teaching style.  I also feel the spirit when I am in the school buildings and the people seem very smart and are very good people.
#239.  I am grateful that Chelsea and Lexi helped with the auditions.  They were fun and worked hard. They both looked great and were professional with the exception of when that super cute sophomore boy came in.
#240.  I am grateful that Holli is learning to look on the bright side of life when she is not feeling well.
#241.  I am grateful that I get to sub in primary.  It is always an adventure and I love how you can always trust the Holy Ghost to be there when you are teaching the simple gospel truths to young children.  No need to be flashy, just simple and follow the lesson and the spirit will teach the children at their level and also testify to you on your level as a teacher.  Interesting.  This week I told the story of the time that Holli was riding Jana Denee's bike on the highway and the spirit told me to get in the car and go get her.  When I drove up the street to find her turning out onto the highway, she asked me "How did you know, Mom?"  This is when I think Holli really learned about the spirit of the Holy Ghost and inspiration.
#242.  I am grateful that Noni took the dead petunias out of the front yard this morning.
#243.  I am grateful for the scriptures. I haven't been reading very fast through Alma, but it seems as though every-time I read a verse it pertains exactly to what is happening in my life.  Did you know that prophets have anxiety?  Did you know that they are instructed to pray to have the light in their life so that they will not have fear.  Alma 13
#244.  I am grateful that Stacie is so dang adorable.  Her chubby buns and legs are my favorite in her tutu.
#245.  I am grateful for the humidity and how green it makes everything this month.
#246.  I am grateful for pool dates with Dad.
#247.  I am grateful that Dad let me be last week when I was trying to complete a very difficult task in preparation for school.
#248.  I am grateful for color and the joy it brings me.
#249.  I am grateful for dish soap because it makes doing the dishes more rewarding.
#250.  I am grateful for a video that I watched this week called "I choose C". Which describes how I feel teaching should not be.
#251.  I am grateful that Brenley passed her test and I know that her score would have been higher if she would not have helped me with auditions.
#252.  I am grateful for good days when I don't feel like I have offended anyone and there is peace in our home.  Goodnight.
